As the year draws to a close, our dedicated team is returning to China. Many people believe that the Yulin Dog Meat Festival occurs only in June, but the truth is that winter is equally devastating for countless dogs. This cruelty extends beyond Yulin to other regions like Guangzhou and up north in Dongbei. Our rescue sanctuary in Hebei faces challenges too; the dogs and cats there are far from safe. Even in winter, markets continue to thrive, and alarmingly, as the prices of beef and other meats rise, innocent dogs are being stolen, mixed with these animals, and sold as premium steak.
No dog, cat, or any animal should ever endure such suffering.
Currently, the weather up north is freezing, and the treacherous roads to the south pose significant risks. Yet, our commitment to these voiceless creatures drives us forward.
