Many of you have asked us about the plight of cats cruelly used for food and fur in Asia, and we wanted to alert you to a horrific 'craze' in China and beyond where cats are tortured.
Campaigners are calling for the Chinese government to act now following a sickening investigation into a horrific feline torture trend in which internet users pick from sickening menus to watch the inhuman abuse of cats.
China Cats Protection, together with the NoToDogMeat charity, have been tracking the activities of the Jacklatio group and a man known as 'Wang Chao Yi' or 'Cat Addiction Therapist', who are at the forefront of the sick craze.
Please read more on our blog and share far and wide. It’s been over one year since we started our investigation and the horrors continue. Protests will be coming up in the next few months in Europe and Osaka, Japan. Our charity will continue to raise this issue at the highest levels.
We also want to thank everyone who has donated to our winter appeal. We still need £14000 to reach our target and ensure the dogs and cats we rescue from all cruel circumstances in China and offer refuge at our base are kept warm. And so we urgently need to buy pellet heaters.
