June 21st 2023 a long night and a long sad day.
Slaughterhouses in full force from midnight, refusing our China team entry. Butchers are taunting us at the markets, and heavy security is suspicious of animal welfare groups and activists.
We have a mountain of evidence proving China is farming dogs for meat, breaking their own livestock rules and torturing them. Cats also are being boiled alive. We bear eyewitness to this. We have rescued as we can and worked with small local groups around Yulin, and we have some more rescues tomorrow, which we plan to bring to the sanctuary of our shelter close to Beijing.
Words can not describe some of what we have been through the last ten days. Please read our account in the press

and also on our blog www.notodogmeat.blog
It has been demoralising, and we know much work is ahead, but we won't give up.
If you are in London this Saturday, please join us at the Picadilly Animal Fair ( 10.30-4) or Trafalgar Sq from 1 pm.
We appreciate your support and know how hard this is for you. Keep signing and sharing as we continue to send this opposition to the cruel Yulin festival to all authorities.
If you can afford to, please donate even a few £ to help care for our rescues until they can find loving homes.
Thank you #StrongerTogether
