Mayor John Tory supports downtown's Belmont House seniors who come from powerful rich families. Which is fine, but why support an effort by City officials to steal from ethnic seniors in lower class long term care facilities like Willowdale Manor and Cummer Lodge?

Meanwhile, Councillor John Filion, Housing Czar Abi Bond and hired PR man David Dilks should be ashamed. But they are not. They hatched a secret plan to strip hundreds of seniors of an acre of beautiful treed and legally protected green parklands forming part of their supportive retirement home. And after the surprise announcement in March, they have ignored and smeared thousands of community members demanding accountability.

All while the City had a team of lawyers protecting the downtown rich seniors home residents of Belmont House from shadows falling on their garden!

This double standard is immoral and unethical .

ASK YOURSELF: IF WHAT CITY OFFICIALS ARE DOING IS PROPER , THEN WHY ARE THEY DEMANDING ONTARIO'S GOVERNMENT STRIP CITIZENS OF ALL THEIR NORMAL RIGHTS TO REQUIRE TORONTO OFFICIALS JUSTIFY THEIR ACTIONS?
