If you missed it, here are some photos from the event organized by BCNA ( Bayview Cummer Neighbourhood Association). Over 200 people attended. Including dozens of elderly folks who live in Willowdale Manor seniors care home.  

Sadly, none of the public officials responsible for trying to take the parklands from these seniors bothered to show their faces!

Not Ward 18 Willowdale Councillor John Filion ( who according to his weekly newsletter was having a fancy brunch on a nearby patio with his chief of staff Markus O'Brien Fehr!). Not $200,000 a year Toronto Housing Czar Abi Bond. Not Federal MP Ali Ehsassi running for reelection  but apparently reluctant to face his constituents. Not any other candidate for a seat in Ottawa. Except  CPC Candidate Daniel Lee who spent a full 2 hours meeting local neighborhood residents and the families and residents of Willowdale Manor.  Thank you to Daniel Lee         ( www.electdaniel.ca )   for joining our Willowdale MPP Stan Cho in listening to Newtonbrook East residents!
