SENIORS PARKLANDS UNDER ATTACK

Behold the precious Seniors' parklands that arrogant public servants are aiming to destroy.

Controversial City of Toronto Councillor John Filion  and Abi Bond the new $200,000 a year Toronto Housing Czar, are being supported by Mayor John Tory in a bid to destroy the mature treed parklands that form part of this suburban seniors complex, home to over 600 residents.

They claim BUT REFUSE TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE that these parklands are the ONLY PLACE THEY CAN FIND IN THE ENTIRE City of Toronto to place prefabricated units to house homeless men with serious mental and addiction needs - far away from all the vital supports located in downtown Toronto. 

While Filion has slammed those asking questions as "obnoxious", he conveniently sold his $3M home in the neighborhood and moved away from the community he represents. And he's now concocted a "community engagement council" hand picked by his office to support him!

Worse, the City is asking the Ontario Government to grant it immunity so that citizens will lose all rights to question or appeal this secret process.
