One of many video testimonials from upset and worried family members of the 600 elderly residents who live in Willowdale Manor and Cummer Lodge long term care and supportive housing for seniors run by the City of Toronto. While the local Councillor John Filion claimed huge community support for this secret plan, in  reality 100% of the AFFECTED residents of these homes and the neighborhood were kept in the dark by the City officials who suddenly announced the treed parklands that form part of their residences would be taken, without advance notice or due process, due to an "emergency need" for property on which the city will permanently place prefabricated living units for the homeless. A MIND BOGGLING AUTHORITARIAN MOVE THAT DESERVES REBUKE.
