With regard to our Tropical Strata facility specifically, this is underwritten by Lloyd’s of London 100% and the syndicates we have partnered with have a very proactive approach to underwriting or insuring each and property on its merits. No two buildings are the same (in Sydney or Airlie Beach for example), and so our approach is to look at each ‘risk’ accordingly. We will be working with local building surveyors and engineers to share our knowledge with the end client(s) as to how we can address cost-effective ‘risk improvement’ measures so as to mitigate potential losses down the track. Our belief is that there has to be more to this equation (ie the purchase of an annual insurance policy) than just price alone, especially for a class of insurance like Strata Title.
