Hi All, I haven't said much about this as I've found it quite surprising, very humbling and mind blowing. On 26th January 2018 I was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to the community of Northern Queensland. I would have paid big money to hear what Rob Whelan, CEO of the ICA had to say about this!! If it opens just one more door, or even one more person tries to help then it may make a difference. I am hopeful. I thank all those who have made this possible and have supported this cause either from the start or later on. I have tried to make a difference. My investiture is in Townsville at the Ville on 30th April. I shall be at the Casino after lunch (2.00-5.00) if anyone wants to call in and say hello.
