As of yesterday, 5/26, housing has been retaliating against employees that have displayed support of Elena. Frankly, not surprising. I thank these people for their bravery nonetheless. If you have been retaliated against, please do not hesitate to go to the university’s Title IX office. 

Today, Elena appears to have been accused of verbal abuse and threats of assault, neither of which have happened. This furthers the portrayal of Elena as an angry, violent brown person which could not be further from the truth.
