Help Mark Hoda Sr. get early parole
The Issue
My name is Kristian Hoda, and I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request on behalf of my family. My dad, Mark Hoda Sr., who is sixty-five this year, affectionately known as Dempsey or Demp is currently serving time in Rankin County Prison. He has served a significant portion of his sentence, taken full accountability for his actions , and worked diligently towards rehabilitation. He has turned his life around by finding solace in faith and pursuing his education. Mark has successfully completed college courses in computer technology, has had good behavior, no rvr's or anything negative while incarcerated, showing a genuine commitment to personal growth and societal contribution. However, my grandmother ,his mom Patsy Hariel whom is in her eightys , whose health is deteriorating with age, needs him home now more than ever. She yearns for her son to be by her side to support and care for her, just as he has endeavored to prepare himself for a responsible life upon release. We believe in second chances and the incredible transformation that can occur with the right support and opportunities. Granting early parole to my dad would not only reunite our family but also allow him to fulfill his duty towards his mother, providing the care and companionship she desperately needs. Mark's dedication to self-improvement and readiness to reenter society demonstrates that he is prepared for a new chapter in life—one where he can contribute positively both to our family and the community. We humbly ask for your support in urging the parole board to consider granting him early parole. Please sign this petition to help bring my dad home, where he belongs, and to give my grandmother the peace and comfort she deserves in her remaining years. Your signature can make a profound difference in our lives.
