Help Make Riverside Boulevard Safer

Help Make Riverside Boulevard Safer
The Issue
Three years ago in Sacramento, 11-year-old Eric and family friend Sandy Louey were struck by an inattentive driver while crossing Riverside Boulevard in front of the Grocery Outlet — even though they were rightfully in the crosswalk. The severe injuries landed them in the ICU.
Now 14 and fully recovered, Eric is determined to make that crosswalk safer — so no one else has to experience what he did.
Sign Eric's Petition!
Join Eric and residents across Sacramento's Pocket-Greenhaven neighborhood to make our roadways safer for all including children, seniors, and cyclists.
We urge the City of Sacramento to install a push-button rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) or other pedestrian safety improvement at the current crosswalk on Riverside Boulevard and Lelandhaven Way, so we can all live in a safer community.
