HELP KEEP ‘THE HOME INVASION CHILD SERIAL RAPIST’ IN PRISON INDEFINATELY
The issue
This man’s name is Fabian Nialle Hansen, otherwise known as Perth’s ‘Home Invasion Rapist.’ His crimes against children, his preferred prey, have spanned over two and a half decades. His reported and convicted victims have included a 12-year-old, myself as a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old and a woman in her twenty's.
This is a man is an opportunistic sexual predator, who always carries a knife and attacks our young and most vulnerable, not only when they are out in the community, but also within their own homes. He has been imprisoned several times for his crimes, starting with his first abduction at the age of 16, and again for the abduction of myself 7 years later. His indifference to authority has been shown by his attempt to rape a 12-year-old girl, whilst having skipped bail awaiting trial for my case. None of his time served has been any sort of deterrent, as his criminal record consists of 16 pages of juvenile and adult convictions, which ended with his most recent crime spree 25 years later. One in which the crimes he committed were so incredibly heinous that he made national news headlines, who dubbed him “THE PERTH HOME INVASION RAPIST”. What the headlines did not mention was that he was in fact a SERIAL rapist. Their way of describing his attacks as ‘degrading,’ a polite way of describing the level of sadistic violent torture he likes to inflict on his victims. This man is very unique in his level of brutality in his attacks. He is NOT your everyday offender.
He is currently in prison for these latest crimes, but history has shown us that he WILL BE REALEASED INTO THE COMMUNITY EVENTUALLY, to hunt our children once more. The State of Western Australia has recently brought in laws that would enable dangerous convicted felons to be detained indefinitely under the High-Risk Serious Offenders Act 2020. For this to happen it is up to the Director of Public Prosecutions or the State Solicitor to put forward an application to the Supreme Court. These laws have bought a large amount of controversy and there is a reluctance to use it for anything other than the most serious of cases. I am quite positive that the community would agree that this individual would place a significant risk to any neighborhood and would definitely qualify as being a suitable candidate for such a severe penalty.
My aim is to express the level of concern to the West Australian Government to ensure that this application is made in 2033, a year before he is due for parole. Our goal is to get 100,000 signatures before this time, but to achieve this we must start collecting signatures now! Please sign…
