🏊‍♀️ Calling all Ilminster and neighbouring Community 🏊‍♂️

It's come to our attention that the Herne View Community Pool, along with the site building may have a different future due to the school merge fast coming. 

As the swim teacher based here for the past two seasons, I've seen first hand how much this pool means to our community.

It's amazing to see how people of all ages, including young children and adults, can transform from disliking water to truly enjoying it.

Our private pool provides a unique, supportive environment for children with SEN, allowing them to relax, be themselves, and learn to love the water in their own way.

It's not just a place to swim; it's where memories are made, skills are learned,  friendships are formed and family bonds tightened. 

Many of you have mentioned  in feedback wanting to use the pool more often, but the temperature can be a barrier. Improving this would be top priority!

But first, we need to show the owners how much we care! Let's unite to save our beloved pool. Sign this petition to demonstrate our community's support and keep this gem in our hands.
