Impacted Families come together in solidarity

March 11th at 2pm @ Massachusetts State House in Boston (24 Beacon St.)

Come support and hear from families who have lost their loved one to police violence. As with every death at the hands of law enforcement, the most recently publicized killing of Tyre Nichols, has been especially traumatizing and triggering for these families. As a community we need to join together and demand more from our elected officials.  

Our call to Action:  

1.  End qualified immunity   

2.  Independent investigations - we need transparency by requiring deaths resulting from police encounters to be independently investigated. 

3.  Effective implementation of body worn camera (BWC) programs - to include specific language about BWC placement and compliance.  There needs to be clear language that when the BWC policy is violated that there will be consequences.
