We will call upon Governor Charlie Baker and Attorney General Maura Healey to appoint an independent investigation into the police killing of Juston by 5 Boston Police officers and 1 MA State Trooper on Feb 7th 2020. The Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey rushed to close the investigation in just 30 days after the killing. Evidence and facts were ignored and are missing from Morrissey's report. This is unacceptable and far from the transparency we all deserve!
We will then march to Attorney General Maura Healey's office to demand action. The AG's office is expecting us tomorrow to deliver over 11,500 signatures in support of our demand. To date both Governor Baker and the Attorney General have taken NO ACTION. Until we make progress on this case being reopened, we will continue collecting signatures with our Petition.
The Root family and the Public deserve the #TRUTH!
