It was God’s doing that Jermaine court date was rescheduled to 20 Jun 2019, because the embassy had no idea about his court due to the Kuwaiti holidays.
below is the reply from the embassy.
“Dear Karina,
Thank you for your e-mail. We apologize for any delay in response, the Embassy was closed last week for the Eid holiday.
We appreciate your assistance to notify us with updates of Mr. Rogers’ hearing dates. We are aware of and plan to send a consular officer to observe his scheduled hearing. Hearing dates in Kuwait can often change with little or no notice.
We want to manage expectations on what we can and cannot do for Jermaine. The Embassy cannot provide legal advice or any translation services. We cannot advocate for any outcome in court. We will be there to observe whether proper protocol is followed, something we take very seriously. It will be important for the family to stay in contact with Mr. Rogers and Mr. Rogers' lawyers to provide you with the results of the hearing”.
