On May 4th Jermaine was moved from the death row ward to a new ward... the living conditions have drastically changed for the worst. Jermaine has now been moved to a cell block That's designed to house 120 inmates but currently holds 280 people, with only 8 bathroom and shower facilities for this many inmates is unheard of...these new living conditions are inhumane by any standards, inmates are sleeping inside the bathrooms and lined outside in the hallway of the 5 room cells. There isn't even enough food or water given to feed the ward let alone the only American, as he has to depend on the government food everyday only one main meal is served which is 1 cup of rice and 1 piece of chicken for the lunch if he's lucky to get any before it's all taken... and at night either cold stale fries or lentil soup some times plain maccorroni this is not enough to sustain anyone. I received an email from the Embassy in Washington DC, that they will no longer visit Jermaine on the biweekly schedule, because his sentence changed from death penalty to life sentence instead they will visit every 6 months... nothing has changed about Jermaine'so health issues he still has continuously been denied his medical treatment and the medicines they give are not the correct meds, now this means the mistreatment and neglect only becomes worst with no one to check his health, and now it's as if our Government is throwing him to the side as well, at what point is enough?
