On 4/27/17 the embassy informed Ms. Carol and myself that they will no longer visit Jermaine every month because his no longer under the death penalty, they will conduct routine visits every 6 month, according to the embassy this is the standard for all Americans. The embassy staff state they will conduct additional visits when special issues arise. Jermaine is still sentenced to life in prison, a sentence that no other American has ever received; a sentenced that will still take his life. What does this means for Jermaine? it means that the embassy is no longer on top of the situation, that he will no longer continue to receive the medical attention that he needs and most likely if we don’t do something he will get lost in the system and forgotten about just like the rest of the Americans in the Kuwait prison. There is on inmate thats been in the prison seven years now that noone even knows his name anymore (Jaykenya King) The only reason the Kuwaiti prison is providing some type of medical care to Jermaine is due to the Presence of the Embassy. Without the support of the Embassy the Kuwait justice system will do what they've done best neglect and continue to abuse Jermaine mentally and physically. We are begging you please do not let Jermaine be forgotten in the Kuwait Prison system please help raise awareness of Jermaine's situation, we implore you to please keep sharing the petition and reaching out to our president, our congressmen and other represenatives until they bring Jermaine home. Thank you!!
