British Gas are ending their cheap tariff TOMORROW!

Save over £100 compared to October price cap before it's too late!
Hi everyone,
I've just found out that British Gas will be withdrawing their cheap fixed rate tariff from the market tomorrow! This tariff is £105 per year cheaper than the October price cap, which makes it around £150 cheaper than the predicted January price cap!
Overall, an average household should be able to save around £125 on this tariff over a year and it only takes 5-10 minutes to switch. Don't pay more for your energy bills than you need to, check it out using the link above.
FYI, if you find a cheaper or better tariff that is FIXED RATE (not variable), then go for that, the priority is getting away from variable tariffs so you don't get caught up in all of the price increases coming over the next 9 months. If you're with Octopus energy, check out their 15-month fixed rate tariff, it's a little more expensive than British Gas's, but it protects you for 15-months instead of 12 and it has £0 exit fees, so if cheaper tariffs do come out next year you can just switch without worry.
I've been saying for a little while that these good tariffs will end before October starts, it really is best to move to a fixed rate tariff as soon as possible. The price cap is going up next week and is expected to go up in January and April, with only a tiny decrease expected in July next year. Energy will be more expensive over the next 12 months than it has been over the last 6, so please protect yourself and look at a fixed rate tariff.
Thanks everyone,
Richard Winstone
