Evening everyone, 

Apologies for another late-night update. A bit of a mad week, as I'm sure it has been for all of us!

So, what do we have today... as promised, I've done a blog post on my new site, theregulatorguy.co.uk, about the energy-related announcements in the Spring Budget this week. I'll be honest, I got a little distracted and passionate in the middle about Ofgem so ended up tweeking the title a little and adding in "The Ofgem Crisis", which I think makes an interesting and frustrating read. 

Additionally, I've done an article on Over50smoney.com about the budget, how it is likely to affect people over the age of 50, both in work and retired. This article also includes a section on a couple of things we think was missing from the budget announcement this week. 

Both links are at the top, please do share them around if you find them interesting.

As I said in my last update, we'll be starting our Ofgem consultations again in the next week or two, so keep an eye out for those. We need to rally together to get the changes through that we're hoping to see. Group efforts on the consultations will give us the best chance of success, and hopefully each one should only take you 5 minutes to do your part (if I've done my part properly!).
