Oh Snow! - Rescheduling Petition Hand In

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry to be writing this message but we've decided to reschedule the petition hand-in because of the snow. With all the travel disruptions on trains and Southeastern recommending people don't travel, it just seems sensible to attempt to reschedule. 

We will be rescheduling as soon as possible, but we'll have to apply for security passes again so it may not be until after New Years now. I'll keep you all updated when I know more about this. 

But, we're seeing the silver linings, we had a huge boost in support for this petition over the weekend (we went from being 220,000 strong to being over 330,000 strong!) and we now think it's a realistic target to get to 500,000 signatures before we hand in the petition!

Originally, I was going to ask you all to call your MPs today and to send out a tweet about the hand-in. Instead, I'm going to ask that you send out the tweet below to raise awareness for the petition and help us get to 500,000 as soon as possible!

Finally, I want to thank everyone that has emailed their MPs over the last week to get them to attend the hand-in, I've seen around 400 emails come through which is incredible. It is really unfortunate we're not able to make it up today but I'm going to go through all the emails this week and I'll personally email every MP that has been contacted to inform them of the rescheduled date and I'll CC each of you into the email.
