First Ofgem Monthly Meeting, Contango and Keep Sharing

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a couple of updates with you, the first being that I attended a forum yesterday with Ofgem and a variety of consumer groups and charities. It was the first one I've attended but I understand that there will be one of those meetings every month plus a variety of other more specific meetings I can attend, which is great news.
The meeting was interesting, it gives me a glimpse behind the curtain at Ofgem and the opportunity to help shape future decisions. I'm obviously pushing forward with getting them to remove Headroom from the price cap, as well as asking for Contango to be passed on to us next year (a quick jargon explanation here) which should help reduce bills by over £200 per year from April if I'm successful.
There will be a variety of other meetings over the coming weeks, which I will attend to push our agenda forward. They are making progress on changing the profit calculation on the price cap, which is fantastic. You can see their specific documents on that here: https://www.ofgem.gov.uk/publications/further-consultation-amending-methodology-setting-earnings-interest-and-tax-ebit-allowance although I warn you that it's a huge and complicated document to read!
If you could, please reshare this petition, it'd be great to reach 250,000 signature before christmas! The link is https://www.change.org/OfgemPriceCap
Thank you everyone for the support, I'll give more updates soon.
