RALLY IS TOMORROW + 18,800 Signatures

A reminder that Divine Playhouse’s peaceful sing-in rally is happening tomorrow, Saturday 25 July, at 12pm in Hyde Park.

This is about more than one venue. It’s about standing up for queer artists, independent arts and culture, and the right to create without being silenced by targeted campaigns of religious outrage.

As Divine Playhouse has said:

“If we don't fight, they learn that intimidation works. Divine Playhouse was never just for LGBTQIA+ audiences. It was for everyone. It wasn't a nightclub — it was an inclusive, accessible community arts centre. And now it's gone.”
