Problems, issues, and effects that are stemmed from slaughterhouses are often overlooked and unseen. However these facilities have a great impact on our environment, society, and in general are inhumane. For starters slaughterhouses produce contaminated water with blood, bacteria, and more that is passed on into our environment. As well as, many of these facilities are unsanitary, with lack of cleanliness and fast paced work there is a great chance of contaminated meat being sent out to the public. Other from contamination, the contortions of slaughterhouses are inhumane. Animals and livestock are forced to remain in overcrowded, unsanitary, and unsafe living environments as they await their deaths. This is inhumane and cruel. Overall slaughterhouses pose many problems to society, the environment, and innocent livestock and animals.
