Honorable City of Boulder Council Members, Boulder County Commissioners and Boulder Valley School Board Members,
As guardians of the land, we humbly ask for your help in creating the proposed Twin Lakes Owl Preserve - 20 acres of key owl habitat. The Owl Preserve will celebrate and protect Colorado's most famous Owls.
Every year for the last 30 years, ten's of thousands of people have visited the Owl Nesting tree in mid-April to joyfully watch the miracle of baby owl's learning to fly and hunt at the proposed Owl Preserve.
Honorable elected officials, this Easter weekend we hope you can join us on one of two planned hikes to see the thrill of children and adults alike as we celebrate these beautiful and wise owls.
Thank you for your help in creating the Twin Lakes Owl Preserve - a wonderful place for people and owls!
