Twin Lakes Owl Open Space
Oct 8, 2017
Some city council members up for election think a number of open space areas in Boulder including the Twin Lakes Owl Open Space should be bulldozed and built over with apartments and potentially skyscrapers over the next year or two.
Other city council members and election candidates love open space and hiking and biking - just like our Owl Open Space supporters. There are 4 out of 9 open council seats - it is very important that we support open space candidates.
Please come speak with and support the 5 city council election candidates that love open space and enjoy mimosa's or brunch at the Open Space Candidates Forum. The Riverside Club is at Broadway and Arapahoe overlooking Boulder Creek. This will be a great social event and will support Boulder being a great place to live and hike in.
Meet the candidates that love open space: Mary Young (council member), Sam Weaver (invited council member), Mirabai Nagel, Cindy Carlisle, John Gerstle (invited)
Attend for free or get a ticket in advance for drinks and/or brunch and help the Riverside Club that supports sustainability in Boulder. Tickets are $15 for bottomless Mimosas or $35 for farm to table brunch and Mimosas.
To RSVP visit the Twin Lakes Owl Open Space Meetup: https://www.meetup.com/BoulderOwlPreserve/events/244031791/
We look forward to seeing you!
