We may even see or hear our Owl friends as we circle Twin Lakes and journey to the Owl Nesting trees. After all - January is the start of Owl mating season. Our goal is to have 100+ people attend our Owl Block Party! Who, who, who can you also invite? By celebrating together this Weds, we can encourage Boulder City Council at their Tues Jan 26 meeting to say YES to the 20 acre Owl Preserve and NO to developers who want to bulldoze all of the Owl Hunting Meadow this spring - just as the baby owls will be hatching and learning to fly. 90% of the food for the Twin Lakes baby owls comes from the Owl Hunting Meadows that have been proposed for protection.
