This petition has been started in hopes of safely retrieving my 6-week-old kitten Astra from her foster parents. After I decided to have a temporary home for her I lost complete contact with the family that took her in, and had been aware this was only a temporary stay. She has decided to block me and my significant other as well, as many pleas were made to simply retrieve the kitten it has ended in a complete dead end. I took more steps and came to her home in hopes for addressing the situation and leaving with Astra. I was trespassed. She has made many comments including that my boyfriend told her she could keep her. Which is untrue. There are messages to prove this. Astra can’t stay in the place I’m at, but the goal was to have her staying at my best friend’s house. Last Friday she was supposed to be picked up and given to her. She never got to that date. Astra is also my ESA animal as I struggle with severe depression and suicidal ideation. But again we were both on the same page of this being a temporary stay. She later switched up and said that she was going to keep the cat. Legally she doesn't belong to anyone.  Due to the lengths of how far she’s taken it, to the point I was told she was used as rat bait, I’m beginning a court case with as much evidence as I can provide. I’ve had multiple people reach out to her asking kindly to give the kitten back, for which she is now saying is harassment. Astra is my pride and joy, and has brought so many good things to me in such a short time. I asked for temporary housing and in the end lost her. The plan is once Astra is retrieved that she will be staying with my best friend, who also has a cat of her own. Astra is beyond loved and so many people miss her, I'm asking for help so I can bring my baby home. 🖤
