I have been an Amazon Flex driver for 7 years. Driving long distances to deliver packages has caused repetitive repairs to my vehicles, forcing me to get a new car three times in the past seven years. I love delivering for Amazon and want to keep doing it, but there is a way to make it more sustainable for all drivers.

Amazon Flex drivers often face significant wear and tear on their vehicles due to the extensive mileage required for deliveries. This not only increases maintenance costs but also reduces the lifespan of our cars. By optimizing delivery routes and assigning more convenient areas, we can reduce these burdens and improve job satisfaction. Another solution would be to allow flex drivers to exchange routes with each other. What may be a far distance to travel for me, may not be for another driver. I have created a platform to simplify the swapping process so that drivers that are looking to swap with another driver can easily find the perfect match and doesn't take a significant amount of time for drivers to swap. I want to bring awareness to Theflexswap.com in hopes that Amazon grant drivers the permission to use it, and also make this possible through their app platform as well.
