Hi everyone, Alfies Mum here.. I just wanted to pop by and give you a little update on Alfie and what’s coming up next for him. He is currently on some medication for his heart. The medication has widened his blood vessels so that it slows his heart down a little to relive the pressure of working so hard. His next Echo will be on the 2nd March, we are hoping that the medication has helped Alfies heart repair so that he can be ready for the antibodies. We have an appointment with Alfies consultant to discuss where they are with the application for funding. I’m also going to give permission for our MP to discuss Alfies medical notes and Also consent for the Bradley Lowery foundation to build a relationship with our consultant. It’s very hard trying to live a normal life while having the massive chore of fundraising to get all this money needed to get Alfie well. I can’t thank you enough for the love and support coming from you our friends and strangers. Your messages mean the world to us., We love reading them. We had a massive influx of donations today, it’s made me quite emotional and thankful that we have the amazing Shelley Wells on the team. She does a fab job of looking after Alfies appeal. You may have seen us yesterday morning on Lorraine Kelly... just for the record it took an awful lot for me to go there. I was a wreck literally 5 mins before we walked on stage. The only thing that made me calm down was Gemma (Brads Mum) she was a star. I’m so impressed with Alfie and super proud of us both, Alfie really enjoyed himself and the gifts were a total surprise. We have worked very hard to get where we are and we still have a long way to go... instead of asking you for money I would like to ask you for a little of your time. Would you be able to hold an event to help raise the money for Alfie. This could be done in many ways... cake sales, clothes swap party’s, fancy dress days at work.
