Last week the WA Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson announced that at some point Western Australian woman would need to hold out for 8 weeks while they cancel elective surgeries to free up health resources. This comes just days after Victorian Dan Andrews announced the IVF ban would be lifted.

While I understand this in some areas, IVF should NOT be classed as "elective" and it should not be put on hold for any amount of time. 

For some woman IVF is the only chance at starting or growing their family. They have been getting their bodies ready for months, time can be running out. 

IVF clinics and their staff who preform the procedures are specialist in their field and some clinics even do all of their treatments and surgeries on site so no hospitals are effected. 

Help us send a message to the WA Government that IVF should not be postponed.
