"Dear Supporters,

I wanted to inform you about an important event that's coming up. The Women's Congressional Policy Institute, co-chaired by Congresswoman Kat Cammack and Congresswoman Susie Lee, will be meeting on November 15th, 2023, in Washington, DC. I strongly encourage all of you who have been affected by military sexual trauma (which, in some way, includes all of us) to consider attending this meeting if you are able. If you can't attend in person, please register to watch it online or find a way to make your voices heard on the issue of military sexual trauma.

I'd like to emphasize that this isn't just a women's issue; it affects us all, regardless of gender. It's crucial that we unite and support one another in this important cause.

On a different note, if any of you have received less than an honorable discharge and have been a victim of MST or suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while serving in the Air Force, I encourage you to explore the Johnson settlement. This settlement, reached in September 2023, can make it easier to correct your discharge status.

Now, here's our specific call to action: Let's keep pushing for H.R. 6023 by taking immediate steps. Share this message on social media, sign our online petition, and contact your representatives to voice your support for this vital legislation. Your engagement can make a significant impact on the lives of all of us.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to this important cause.

Sincerely,

            Jim Humphrey
