STOP destruction of dogs: Introduce spay and neuter - Miss Sukanya Kadian
The Issue
Abhishek Kadyan and Miss Sukanya Kadian taken up the matter of amendments in Haryana and Punjab Cattle Fairs Act's to replace ELEPHANT from the definition of cattle, like wise they again demands-
1. Remove ELEPHANT from the definition of cattle in the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.
2. Remove the destruction of dogs from the duties and functions of the Gram Panchyat, where as rabid animals be handled as per the legal provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
3. Include the Animal Birth Control in the duties and functions of the Gram Panchyat.
4. Introduce the rules and regulations, bye-laws for slaughter houses and meat shops in rural area's.
