Li Xiang (Badge No. 051068), a police officer in the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, brutally tortured and killed at least 14 cats.

His methods included stomping, drowning, boiling, freezing, and even cutting open a pregnant cat after using pepper spray and police batons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Li recorded these acts and posted them in a violent online group, where police uniforms, his badge number, and other identifiers were clearly visible. The same group also spreads anti-China rhetoric and illegal weapon content.

 

 

In April, solid evidence—including videos and chat logs—was submitted to authorities. Shenzhen police claimed to take the case “seriously”.

yet Li Xiang remains on duty, with no signs of criminal investigation or suspension.
