Recently "The Society" was cancelled by Netflix when it was renewed last year. The fans are thoroughly dissapointed to not be able to see the second season. The fanbase is huge and currently has many petitions going on to renew it. Netflix has Never renewed a cancelled show before so the fans are pushing for HBO/HBOMAX to pick it up. Fans have also been talking to HBO agents and they have been telling them that the more noise they make the higher chance that HBO can pick it up for a second season! Adding the society to HBO Max is a great way for the company to get more subscribers , teens stream all the time so adding this show will most defiantly get that demographic over there! its a show that many people enjoy and are extremely loyal too! the most important part of the show is the representation it delivers (Deaf representation , Muslim representation, Women as leaders , LGBTQ representation , Celebrates Female friendships , and showcases domestic abuse in a non romanticized way.)
