Please sign this petition to ensure a safe crossing at McDonalds in South Windsor.

The issue

No McDonalds at South Windsor without a SAFE crossing!

We are looking for people to sign the petition to ensure safe access to the community of Bligh Park and South Windsor and surrounding areas.

We demand that the Hawkesbury City Council ensure the new McDonalds restaurant in South Windsor includes an overhead crossing or under road crossing for safe pedestrian access from Bligh Park to the restaurant.

The intersection of Blacktown Road and George Street is one of the busiest in the Hawkesbury. The Hawkesbury Council need to know that it is a necessity to consult residents on safety issues before giving a commitment to big business!
The safety of our children is of paramount importance to us as it should be to Hawkesbury council and the councillors who voted to approve this new restaurant. McDonalds aim their marketing at Children and young families and should be a responsibility to ensure safe access for surrounding residents.
