The boulders blocking Loop Road have been partially moved and the trench across the road has been filled with cobbles and gravel so it is passable, barely. 

There are new lo’i being restored to an area that has not had food growing for a very long time.

It is unknown why the DLNR chose to trench the road and block it off before removing the Jeep that recently ended up in the water of Uhau’iole Stream.The heavy equipment was on site digging the trench to block the road just hundreds of yards from Jeep in water.
