Having People Nominate Supreme Court Justices
The Issue
Supreme court justices are elected by the President and confirmed by the Senate. This has been the way for a long time. Only as of 1913 were people able to be voted in by Senators. Now the time has come for supreme court justices to be elected the same way. Those who interpret law should fall under the same category as those who make law. As such they should go through the same process as other elected officials endure and instead of them serving for life. These officials serve every 6 years and hold elections after those 6 years are up. These officials can be re-elected as many times as they're voted in by the people of the United States. Let me know your thoughts on people nominating Supreme court Justices down below.
