In some states, including Georgia, proposed legislation could even make abortion punishable by the death penalty.

This isn't dystopian fiction. It's the terrifying reality we’re hurtling toward as the abortion abolitionist movement gains momentum.

Georgia House Bill 441, known as the Prenatal Equal Protection Act, is a dangerous part of that trend.

This bill would:

• Define life as beginning at fertilization and treat abortion as murder
• Remove exceptions for rape and incest, forcing survivors to carry pregnancies to term
• Expose people who seek or assist with abortions to homicide charges, including medical professionals and possibly even family members
• Allow fathers, including rapists, to sue for wrongful death in abortion cases

This isn't about protecting life—it's about controlling women and criminalizing personal healthcare decisions. It would have devastating consequences, especially for vulnerable people in rural areas, survivors of assault, and those with pregnancy complications.

We, the undersigned, demand that the Georgia Legislature immediately DROP HB 441 and reject any attempt to further criminalize abortion.
