On Sunday, 24th of July, Australia witnessed sporting injustice at the highest order. With just 1 second on the clock, the Wests Tigers led 26 - 25. As the Cowboys kicked off, Tigers fullback, Daine Laurie, secured possession, thus ending the game. Just when Australia rested thinking the deserved team had won, the Cowboys made a captains challenge, asking the ref to look for obstruction. This led to the bunker ruling that Tigers centre, Asu Kepaoa, had run Cowboys Winger, off the ball, leading to a penalty and ultimately securing the Cowboys the win.

Not only was this clearly not a penalty, but as there was no refs call, a challenge should not have been allowed to be made.

As a neutral, this raises serious questions around the integrity of our game, and I believe this is an easy fix to change the result to a Tigers win.

Help remove this stain of a result from the greatest game of all by showing the NRL how many fans will not tolerate this blatant match fixing.
