Spike Chunsoft is making a remake for Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair that releases in Early 2027.

If it does well, they could consider making other Danganronpa games. I personally wish they remake V3 next.

Spike had Kaede Akamatsu be apart of the fake protag switch and kill her off in the first Chapter; just to change to the same ol’ male protag archetype.

If Spike Chunsoft does a V3 remake, then Kaede will HAVE to be the protag for the whole game because they can’t do the same twist twice. It would also be the first ever mainline female protagonist in Danganronpa.
