Have a Special Edition of "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" Be Made

The Issue

"Thomas and the Magic Railroad" (2000) has always been hated by most people, including its filmmakers (Britt Allcroft included), and me, too. Just about everything in it is terribly done. Unnecessary random lines, strangely no other people on Sodor other hand Mr. Conductor, bad renditions of famous songs, and not enough of the engines from "Thomas the Tank Engine" show or American counterpart sitcom, "Shining Time Station," human characters. Not enough scenes or personal connections with Thomas and his supposed love interest, Lady, either. No face on Lady until being awaken--which did not really make sense to begin with--made totally unbelievable as well.

If there were ever a time to make a special edition for a film (like with "Beauty and the Beast" 1991 and "Star Wars" movies), then this would be it. All changes anyone would love. Cut out some bits as the 10-second annoying singing from diesel 10; create CGI passengers actually on and around coaches, drivers and conductors working on and around all of the engines, and some unused engines in the clips (including main character Edward); replace lousy rendition of Thomas anthem w/ classic variant; and re-record any of the stupid lines as, “Why are you hitting him so much? Stop that!,” w/ better lines or none or cutaway. CGI replicas of some unused "Shining Time Station" TV show characters would be cool, too. Same with adding an eyes closed face on Lady—until she woke up from LOONGG slumber—always on her, plus (if possible) more clips with her supposed love interest, Thomas. Faced on the freight cars would be satisfactory also. Hearing faint, ghostly whistles at random throughout Shining Time Station and its valleys plus mountains—indicating Lady is secretly alive well even in deep slumber—would be totally neat, too.

Changed title to "Thomas and Shining Time Station" would make it feel this movie is trying to capture the best of both excellently received TV sitcoms equally.

Anyone, young or old, would love to see these changes be made--definitely much more than current version. This would make a fair version of an always universally negatively received movie.
