Imagine for a moment that this is your child. Just one moment. Do you feel the pain? A mother takes on the pain of their child. But ask why that child is experiencing pain, especially when they are a victim that remains unheard. Imagine your child sitting casually at their lunch table and later in the day finding out from a bystander that three individuals were discussing your child, her faith, and called her a "stupid Jew bitch." Now imagine your reaction when the bystander reports this incident both timely and correctly and the staff at your child's school chooses not to believe them because of a preexisting bias. Is it not the job of a school administrator to conduct an investigation objectively without bias? Is it not problematic when the said "investigator" explicitly says to the bystander, "I will never believe anything you say?" thus further complicating matters for my child. If you have answered "yes" to any of the above, welcome to our life. Please consider this petition a Call to Action. My child remains a victim since October 2023. It is now January 2024.

Life already has so many obstacles. Bullying, harassment, antisemitism, teasing, taunting, microaggressions, etc. should never be additional obstacles. Nothing exposes someone's character more than the way they treat people. Levittown Public School District took advantage of my child's kindness, vulnerability, integrity, and respect.
