In 2020, Hasbro created a new series of "Marvel Legends" action figures with the "Marvel Legends: Retro Spider-Man" toyline.  The first assortment consisted of new action figures of Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy with an alternate head of Mary Jane Watson, Electro, the Green Goblin, and Daredevil in his black and red armored uniform.   Marvel Legends has continued the toyline with new Retro action figures and, with the past few waves, have also included more modern Spider-Man comic characters to the toyline as well.

However, despite re-releasing the Retro Green Goblin figure on websites like Amazon for fans to buy, Marvel has not made a new classic action figure of the Green Goblin in his classic comic book outfit since 2020 and fans of the "Marvel Legends" toyline were unhappy with both the eyes of the Retro Green Goblin toy's head and the fit of the Goblin Glider on the Green Goblin figure's feet.

We, the fans, would like to see Hasbro make a brand new, classic comic book based action figure of the Green Goblin for either the "Marvel Legends: Retro Spider-Man" toyline or for their new "Marvel Legends: Maximum" series toyline that includes more accessories and alternate heads than normal "Marvel Legends" figures.  Fans hope to see at least a new Green Goblin head sculpt, possibly an alternate head of Norman Osborn, for the figure to have a new updated body mold, open hands, alternate fist hands, at least one pumpkin bomb accessory and a new classic "bat-wing" shaped Goblin Glider that stays on the figure's feet.

If Hasbro makes a "Marvel Legends: Maximum" figure for the Green Goblin, fans hope to see open hand accessories, alternate hands with his index finger pointed for his electric blast pose, alternate fist hands, two pumpkin bomb accessories for each of his open hand accessories, one or two razor bat accessories, a classic Goblin Glider accessory, an alternate "head" of the Goblin Glider with two blades from "The Amazing Spider-Man" volume 1, #122, his original rocket powered "broomstick" from his first appearance, and several alternate heads, such as a laughing Green Goblin head sculpt, an alternate angry Green Goblin head sculpt, and alternate civilian heads of Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn, and Dr. Bart Hamilton, respectively.
