Hasbro: Please Make A "Marvel Legends: Secret Wars" Magneto Figure

The Issue

In 2024, Hasbro released a new "Marvel Legends Series Secret Wars" toyline based on the 1984 12-issue comic book series "Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars".  Six figures were released for the "Secret Wars" toyline in honor of the comic's fortieth anniversary year - Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man in his black alien costume, Wolverine, Titania, and the Beyonder (in his "Secret Wars II" outfit), respectively.  A sold-separately figure of Iceman was released in 2025 and a second wave of action figures was released in 2026, consisting of the Absorbing Man, Constrictor, Daredevil, the Falcon, Magik, and Spider-Man in a half-classic/half-symbiote look, respectively.

However, one character that has yet to be included in the toyline is the classic X-Men supervillain Max Eisenhardt/Magneto, the Master of Magnetism.  Magneto was one of the main characters of the "Secret Wars" comic book series, serving as an ally to the heroes by teaming up with the X-Men.  Magneto has also been included in the original eight figure assortment of the 1984 "Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars" toyline by Mattel and was included in a two-pack for the 2009 "Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars" 3 and 3/4 inch figures by Mattel for the comic's twenty-fifth anniversary year, so not including Magneto in the new "Marvel Legends Series Secret Wars" toyline has left several fans disappointed by his absence.

Fans hope that Hasbro will make a new Magneto action figure on a different body mold than his "X-Men '97" figure, with new calm and angry alternate heads, a removable helmet accessory, a removable cape, open hands, and new "magnetic" hand blast accessories for fans to add to their collections.
