Over the years, many action figures have been made based on one of Spider-Man's most popular and most persistent classic enemies - Doctor Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus.  However, Doctor Octopus has yet to get an action figure of his business suit look from the early-to-mid-1990s, best remembered from classic comic book story-lines like "Return of the Sinister Six" and from popular video games like the 1991 Sega Genesis game "Spider-Man versus the Kingpin".

Since Hasbro has been making new figures of classic Spider-Man villains for their Marvel Legends toyline and the Retro Spider-Man toyline with the old Toy Biz "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" packaging, we, the fans, would like to see a new figure of Doctor Octopus made in his white Armani suit and to have all-new bendable wire tentacles accessories included.

Since Hasbro has made new figures of Sinister Six teammates in recent years, such as the Sandman, Electro and Mysterio, we, the fans, would like to see Doctor Octopus get a new figure in his white business suit for fans of the 1990s Sinister Six team to add to their Marvel Legends collection.  We, the fans, would also like to see this Doctor Octopus figure not to be sold exclusively at a single website or store and to be sold separately, not to be part of a two-pack or as part of a boxed set.
