I am resident of another high-rise apartment in Gurugram. Today, the dreadful news of Chintel Paradiso shocked me and many more like me to the core. Fear of multiple death and many more injuries. What was their fault ? They were probably sitting at home and relaxing under the safety of their roof. But had no clue that moments after it would all crash down on them and would probably take their lives and that of their loved ones.

The structural integrity of these high rises are at question here! These private builders charge millions and we buyers put down our lives saving for such a fate?

I think it's high time that we force our builders to get the structural inspection done for each and every flats and if found weak the buyers should be compensated and moved to a safer location so that another Chintels Paradiso incident doesn't happen in this city and our friends and family can live at peace in this millenial city.
