UPDATE 10/11/2019: There is now a call to investigate Judge Kastrenakes! Several updates have been posted on here following the issue and while Judge Kastrenakes has finally dropped the rest of the charges forced onto Deandre Somerville thanks to public outlash and a few other factors, Kastrenakes still remains indignant about what he’s done, however, now that senator Bobby Powell is on the scene and is seeking the retribution we are all wanting, things look to be quickly turning around! Whether Kastrenakes realizes the gravity of what he’s done or not, justice will be served! Let’s all support senator Bobby Powell in his efforts and continue to sign, share and work on the matter with him! (thank you everyone who has participated in this change! As we grow we give power back to the people and in time justice looks like it will be served but only with the continued push for support! We the people will not stand idly by!)

PREVIOUS CALL FOR SUPPORT 10/04/2019:

The overkill punishment that this judge placed on a young man by the name of Deandre Somerville is cruel and unusual, it’s disgusting that this was allowed because of a small mistake of sleeping through his alarm! To throw someone in jail, give them a criminal record, force them to do community service, and give him a YEAR LONG PROBATION SENTENCE for simply missing Jury Duty is a gross injustice to enforce on any human being! I could understand a fine at MOST but nothing this outrageous, this man clearly abused his power as a judge and deserves punishment for his actions equal to that of what he sentenced Mr. Somerville for, or he should just be relieved of his position altogether!

At the very least this sentence should be dropped and Deandre Somerville’s record scrubbed, they should also retract the fine for the fact that they made him spend 10 days in jail and are forcing him to do community service. This sentence needs to be rectified, we the people will not stand for unfair treatment especially from a system that was supposed to protect and serve the people but instead harasses, often unjustly persecutes the innocent, and seems to protect or limit the punishments given to the guilty! You are not above the law simply because you hold a position of authority!

Another thing to note is that he is a biased man in other instances as well, he is not someone who should be in power and it seems the idea of his position being called into question has been a topic in the past, as seen in the second article below!

I urge everyone to file a complaint against him and anyone who contributed and supported this behavior! There is an official way to file a complaint and if people not only petition but also formally file, we may see an actual change of some sort!
