The first step in Happy Educators=Happy Students has been to inform people of the ways we can improve the educational arena by focusing on one of the most integral parts; the educators.  Educators come in many shapes and forms- from librarians to classroom teachers to maintenance teams and security guards.  Finding solutions through teamwork is something that this petition and the creators take seriously.  Luna and I wanted to let you all know that we have moved forward with several colleagues, be it review web sites or accrediting bodies, to discuss changes to the process and protocol for more accountability, more trust, more decision-making opportunities for staff and more inclusive language for all stakeholders.  Please continue to share and sign this petition and leave your comments and suggestions (especially if you have some useful ideas to share with accrediting agencies) in the comment section.  If you want to reach out, feel free to find me on Linkedin.  The more, the merrier.
